Anna B. Holtzapple, GW #54

Annie was born in March 1878 in Williamsport, Pa to William L and Mary E (Rowe) Holtzapple.  Her sister Mary was also a Gospel Worker.  Before joining the Gospel Worker Society, Annie worked as a domestic for a family in Williamsport.  In 1910 Annie was stationed in Altoona, Pa at the time of the census.  In 1917 her mother came to visit her in Pittsburgh where she was stationed that year.  Annie’s career with the Gospel Workers was cut short in 1927.  She died on 18 February 1927 and is buried in the Brooklyn Heights Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio with other Gospel Workers.
