Anna F. Heffner, GW #82
Anna was born on 15 February 1888 to Daniel and Andora (Faust) Heffner of Richmond Township, Berks County, Pa. The borough of Fleetwood was carved out of Richmond Township. In 1900 she is a young teenager, living with her widowed father and several siblings, including her brother William who became a preacher in the Mennonite Brethren in Christ/Bible Fellowship Church. By 1910, Annie moved to Reading, Pa to live with her sister and brother-in-law. Sadly, her sister died in 1917. Was this the reason Annie looked to the Gospel Workers for other living and working arrangements? By 1920 Annie was in Cleveland, Ohio with the Gospel Workers where she lived the rest of her life. Annie died 23 April 1983 and is buried in the Brooklyn Heights cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio with other Gospel Workers.
