Bella D. Gottschall, GW #32
Isabella D. Gottschall was born in 1875 to Lewis and Isabella (Douglass) Gottschall in Shamokin, Pa. Presumably, this is where she encountered the Gospel Workers and was inspired to join the society. George, city leader, Gospel Workers Society Mission. Meanwhile, her widowed mother and some of her siblings moved to Philadelphia. In February 1920, 44 year old Bella married 45 year old Frank DeNome; the marriage license is recorded in Dauphin County, Pa. As far as is known, Frank and Bella lived in the Philadelphia area; in 1926 they became members of Siloam United Methodist Church in Bethel Township, Delaware County, Pa. They did not have any children. Frank died in 1940 and Bella died 2 October 1959. Both are buried in Fernwood Cemetery, Lansdowne, Pa.
