Florence V Kramer, GW #141

Florence was born 21 February 1899 to Franklin T and Katie (Rentschler) Kramer, probably in Wilkes Barre, Pa since that is where the family was the following year for the census.  By 1910 the family had moved to Penn Township, Berks County, Pa which is near Bernville.  Perhaps Florence learned of the Gospel Worker Society because of being near Reading, Pa.  By 1920 Florence had joined the Gospel Workers in Cleveland, OH.  In the 1940 census it is reported that Florence had nine years of formal education.  In the 1950 census her occupation is listed as linotype operator.  It appears Florence stayed with the Gospel Workers for the rest of her life.  She died 20 June 1982 and is buried in the Brooklyn Heights Cemetery with other Gospel Workers.
