Margaret Anderson, GW #58

Anderson, Margaret S.  GW #58  Margaret was born on 12 August 1886 in Shamokin to Scottish immigrants Robert and Mary (Stevenson) Anderson.  Her brother, J T Anderson, was a preacher in the Mennonite Brethren in Christ Church.  When the Gospel Workers had a mission in Shamokin, the Anderson family became founding members of the church that was started there.  By 1910 Margaret had joined the Gospel Worker Society.  She lived in Cleveland with the Society and remained there the rest of her life.  In the 1940 census it is stated that Margaret had 7 years of schooling.  Margaret died on 10 February 1969 and is buried with the Gospel Workers in Brooklyn Heights cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
