Marian M. Wimmer, GW #185

Marian was born on 5 May 1913 in Bucks County, Pa. to Milton and Carrie (Reinhart) Wimmer.  In 1920 the family is living in Richland Township, Bucks County, Pa.  Her location in 1930 is undiscovered.  By 1940 Marian is living in Cleveland with the other Gospel Workers; she reports she had seven years of schooling.  Marian did not stay with the Gospel Workers.  On 11 March 1944 she married Clarence Croman in the parsonage of the East Swamp Mennonite Church.  They made their home in Quakertown.  In 1950 the Croman’s were living in Milford Township, Bucks County, Pa. where Clarence was a farmer and Marion was a presser in a pants factory.  Marian died on 2 September 1962 of breast cancer and is buried in the cemetery of the East Swamp Mennonite Church.  Her husband died in 1968 and is buried next to her.
