Report of the Board of Directors of the Bible Fellowship Church

                  The Board of Directors of the Bible Fellowship Church met at four regular meetings throughout the year. It attended to the corporate business of the Bible Fellowship Church providing oversight of fiscal and legal affairs.

                  Counsel and/or financial arrangements were duly taken care of for various churches and ministries as follows:

ramifications

         We recommend that the 107th Annual Conference adopt the following:

1.      That payments from the Ministers’ Retirement Fund beginning October 1, 1990 be at the rate of $162.00 per year of service up to 40 years of service for which the retiree is eligible.

2.      That the rate of mileage reimbursement be established at $0.20 per mile.

3.      That the oversubscription to the Administrative Budget be placed in “Contingencies”.

4.      That the Administrative Budget for October 1, 1990 to September 30, 1991 be approved.

5.      That the Administrative Budget of $76,000.00 for October 1, 1991 to September 30, 1992 be approved.

         The Board of Directors of the Bible Fellowship Church endorses the request by the Board of Directors of the Bible Fellowship Church Home to seek a restatement of their Articles of Incorporation, revision of By-Laws and transfer title of properties and assets to the Board of Directors of the Bible Fellowship Church Home.

         The Board of Directors presents a proposal from Presbyterian Ministers’ Life as an answer to the Petition from the Bethlehem Bible Fellowship congregation on Medical Disability (see report, page 49).

         The Board of Directors has been reviewing the Ministers’ Retirement Fund and has no recommendations at this time. Horace A. Kauffman, Financial Secretary, will explain the purpose and provisions of the Fund.

         The funds held by the Board of Directors of the Bible Fellowship Church are deposited with the Farmers First Bank of Lititz, Pennsylvania. The accounts were audited by Walter A. Davis.
