Report of the Board of Publication and Printing

                  “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.” Proverbs 3:3

                  The concept of writing has been around since the beginning of time. Although the writing utensils and that upon which is written have changed, the purpose for writing has remained. We are still attempting to convey knowledge and information.

                  In the spiritual realm, writing has been paramount to the advancement of godliness. In fact, if it wasn’t for the written Word of God, humanly speaking of course, we would all be doomed.

                  The Board of Publication and Printing has as an ultimate goal to continually produce material which will aid our churches in the advancement of the Kingdom. Although set backs are not anticipated or totally understood, they are a product of human nature.

                  This year the Board of Publication and Printing struggled with one of our key responsibilities – Fellowship News. In fact, not one copy was produced within our fiscal year. The reasons for this failure are varied and complicated. Thankfully, we have learned some valuable lessons and believe that a new product will be consistent and meet the needs of the Bible Fellowship Church.

                  Just in case you haven’t heard, Fellowship News is returning to a publication with an emphasis on news. Due to the high cost of mailing, and mailing lists, it is the decision of this board to revert back to drop-shipping the Fellowship News to each church. We hope this will be a sufficient way for your people to obtain denominational news.

                  Please pray for God’s blessing on our new editor and success for this necessary part of our conference.

                  Because of the absence of the Fellowship News, the Board will not be requesting a per member or agency “assessment” for 1989-90. We are trusting that those who failed to donate last year will consider doing so shortly.

                  The Board recommends the adoption of the following:

                  RESOLVED, that the cost of the 1989 Yearbook be $ 5.50 per copy.
