Report of the Committee on Credentials
The Committee on Credentials held four meetings during the year in the performance of its duties.
During the year the Committee on Credentials met with several of the Pastors and counseled with them.
The following action was taken: Albert J. Dommel, who had been under the care of the Committee on Credentials since his resignation from Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Harrisburg, PA, has been reinstated to the list of available men waiting for a call from a Bible Fellowship Church. Herbert K. Lea has been placed on the list of Ordained Ministers on Leave of Absence. Bruce A. Ellingson has been placed on the list of Ordained Ministers Working in Other Christian Ministries. Philip E. Morrison has been placed on the list of Ordained Ministers Working Under the Direction of the Board of Missions of the Bible Fellowship Church. Edgar H. Munyan has been placed on the list of Ordained Ministers Between Calls.
The FAITH & ORDER questionnaire was sent to each of the ministers holding Ordination Credentials with the Bible Fellowship Church. All of the brethren, except one, returned their questionnaire and gave affirmative answers to all questions. No response was received from Donald B. Schaeffer and he was subsequently dropped from the list of Ordained Ministers holding credentials with the Bible Fellowship Church.
The Committee on Credentials gives thanks to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Who has given these gifted men to the ministry of the Bible Fellowship Church. The Committee met with three men for ordination examination.
WHEREAS, the Ministerial Candidate Committee has recommended R. Jerome Brush and Howard N. Wells for ordination; and
WHEREAS, the Ministerial Candidate Committee has recommended prior ordination recognition for John C. Studenroth, and
WHEREAS, these brethren have served acceptably as ministers of the Bible Fellowship Church for the required period of time; and
WHEREAS, after examination the Committee on Credentials believes these men to be called of God to the gospel ministry and to be in accord with the FAITH & ORDER of the Bible Fellowship Church; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that R. Jerome Brush and Howard N. Wells be ordained to the gospel ministry of the Bible Fellowship Church and further;
RESOLVED, the prior ordination of John C. Studenroth to the gospel ministry be recognized by the Bible Fellowship Church and further,
RESOLVED, that the service of ordination shall be held Tuesday, October 20, 1992, at 7:30 PM at Berean Bible Fellowship Church, Stroudsburg, PA.

The Committee on Credentials makes the following recommendations:
1. That the Ordination Service be held Tuesday, October 19, 1993 during the 110th Annual Conference at the Stroudsburg Bible Fellowship Church.
2. That a particular church be encouraged to have a service acknowledging the Ordination of their Pastor and that they be encouraged to invite the Credentials Committee to send representation to be present at the service.
3. That the 109th Annual Conference approve the material presented by the Ministerial Candidate Committee relative to Article II Procedure For the Recognition of Minister (page 118-120 FAITH & ORDER).
