Report of the Committee on Ministerial Candidates

                  The Ministerial Candidate Committee met nine times in scheduled meetings during the conference year. In addition, special meetings were held to consider special needs.

                  The following men were interviewed during the year: Thomas G. Barshinger, Daniel F. DeLozier, W. Neil Harding, Jr., Stephen R. McClelland, Edgar H. Munyan, Richard T. Paashaus, Thomas A. Pollock, Richard B. Ravis, Brent E. Robinson, Larry M. Smith, David H. C. Sng, Gregory A. Uhrich, Gilbert J. Vining.

                  The following were recommended for ordination examination: Edgar H. Munyan, Richard T. Paashaus, Brent E. Robinson, Larry M. Smith, Gregory A. Uhrich, and Gilbert J. Vining.

                  The following were approved to be probationers eligible to receive a call: Carl J. Fischer, Jr., Richard B. Ravis, and Howard N. Wells.

                  The following were licensed: R. Jerome Brush, Barnabas Marshall, Christopher J. Morrison, David R. Way, and Howard N. Wells.

                  In collaboration with the Credentials Committee, the Ministerial Candidate committee has been studying the requirements for probationers.

                  The annual Orientation Seminar during the next year will be held June 3-6, 1991. The preaching clinic will be held Tuesday, June 4, 1990. The pastors of the Bible Fellowship Church are invited to help in the evaluation of the preaching of the candidates.
