Marion Belle Culbertson GW #127

Marion was born 22 September 1898 in Ohio, probably in Huntsburg, Geauga County, to Louis P. and Mildred (Tagg) Culbertson.  Several records give her name as Ethel as an additional name (nickname?).  Marion is 21 years old, living at home, and working as a book binder in a print shop.  When she enters the Gospel Worker Society she already has some print shop experience.  However, she did not stay long with the Society; by 1923 she married Thomas Laughlin.  From the 1930 census we learn they are living in Cleveland and have two young sons.  In 1940 they report they have six children:  five sons and one daughter.  Eventually Marion (and Thomas?) moved to Michigan where she died on 1 March 1971.  She is buried in Briley Township Cemetery in Atlanta, Montmorency County, Michigan.  I don’t know where her husband is buried.
