Alice was born in April 1891 in Lehigh County to Lewis and Martha (Weiss) Yeahl, sometimes spelled Yale. Her sister Emma also served as a Gospel Worker. In 1895 tragedy struck the family when Alice’s father died instantly in an accident while on the job for the Lehigh Valley Railroad. In the 1900 census, nine-year-old Alice is reported as living in the home of Joel Bush and his daughter and son-in-law in Lehigh Township. Her service was cut short on 17 December 1918 when she succumbed to the Spanish flu. She is buried in the Brooklyn Heights Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio, with other Gospel Workers.
