SPECIAL MEETING

COMMITTEE FOR EXAMINING THE EVANGELISTS 

February 17 1888 

The Committee for Examining the Evangelists had an extra session on February 17, in the private house of the Presiding Elder, William Gehman, for examining the preachers who were not present at the Conference and reported as follows: 

Brother William Ellinger was examined, and approved to work as Evangelist. 

Brother Thomas Leh was examined and found not to be in conformity with our Church Discipline. He therefore does not receive permission for the time to work as Evangelist in our Society. 

Brother Samuel H. Frey was not present and therefore cannot serve as Evangelist for this year in our Society.
