Report of the
Ministerial Convention Committee
The annual Ministerial Convention was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 26-27, 2006 at Pinebrook Bible Conference Center.
The conference theme was entitled: “The Three Colors of Ministry.” The speaker was Carl Shank of Natural Church Development (NCD). Mr. Shank’s sessions focused on how the churches might implement gift-oriented ministries, as described in Christian Schwarz’s book The 3 Colors of Ministry. Sessions included discussions of NCD’s Trinitarian approach to identifying and developing spiritual gifts, as well as discussions of how to organize your church around its particular spiritual gift mix.
At the business meeting, Steven J. DelDuco and John C. Vandegriff, Jr. were elected to serve, replacing Allan R. Vivona and Howard N. Wells whose terms expired. We offer our thanks for the faithful services of both Allan R. Vivona and Howard N. Wells.

The 2007 Ministerial Convention is scheduled for October 2-3, 2007. The theme will be The Emerging Church. Our guest speaker will be Dr. John Franke, Professor of Theology, Biblical Seminary.
