Report of the
Ministerial Convention Committee
The annual Ministerial Convention was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 7-8, 2008 at Pinebrook Bible Conference. The Convention theme was “Engaging Our Jerusalem”. A number of our churches shared their outreach strategies, programs, and initiatives. Attendees were encouraged and challenged as presenters shared how the Lord was at work in reaching the lost through their churches. The BFC Ethnic Church Planting Committee also shared the denomination’s strategy for reaching an ever-growing Hispanic community in our cities. The Convention closed with a time of focused prayer for the continued outreach of our Bible Fellowship churches.
At the business meeting, Alan G. Miller and Daniel L. Williams were elected to serve, replacing Raymond R. Bertolet and Philip E. Yerrington whose terms expired. We offer our thanks for the faithful service of Brothers Bertolet and Yerrington.

The 2009 Ministerial Convention is scheduled for October 6-7, 2009. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Philip Ryken of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. Dr. Ryken will be engaging our pastors in discussion on the topic of preaching.
