In 1917, the Rose of Sharon Hymnal was published by the Mennonite Brethren in Christ of Pennsylvania. It contains over 700 hymns. The introductory note includes a thank you to the people who assisted the committee and allowed for the copyright of their works. The compiling committee consisted of: H.B. Musselman, W.G. Gehman, J.F. Barrall, C.H. Brunner, and E.N. Cassel.

This hymnal was a common site in each of our churches.
